MYSTERY

A Fitting End

Date: Februray 16,2015

Overall Grade: A B C D E F + -

My thoughts on this book:

This is the second book in the series. I don't really think you need to read the books in order to understand it. But, if you want to get more discriptions of the characters, I would say to read the first book.

Sherlock Holmes

Title: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

My thoughts on this book:

This is probably the best mystery book I have read. Maybe it's because it is about the legendary Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. (Hmmmm) Okay, back to the review... This book has a very nice flow from mystery to mystery. The book is written like a diary of what mysteries Watson and Sherlock have solved together. I have read the young classic version of this which was what got me hooked. So far my favorite mystery has been "The Speckled Band". I was able to identify what happened because I read it in the young classic's version but it was nice to see how the different authors set the scene.

The Agency

Review By: Lily

Date: April 10, 2015

Overall Grade: A B C D E F + -

My thoughts on this book:

This book is like a Nancy Drew for older children. The book is about a girl who uses the idea that "girls aren't that smart" and only "listen when talked to" to help her. Mary Quinn, a formal criminal now must work in finding what happened to all of the sunken ships. There are some parts that are confusing and I had to read it over again. Mary uses what she learned from her old days of being a thief. There is some some romance, but it is less or about the same amount of Divergent.

I Am Princess X

Title: I am Princess X

Review by: Abi

Date: March 29

Overall Grade: A-

My thoughts on this book:

This book is a comic and mystery novel wrapped up in one. When I first was introduced to May, I knew that I would like her determination and her insistance to find her best friend. Patrick was somebody I really thought I would hate, but actually grew on me. I liked hunting for the clues myself, and when the story was so well written that I could guess at the solution logically but that it was not obvious.
